With the support of the Novokuibyshevsk Refinery (part of Rosneft), the Novokuibyshevsk central city hospital received new diagnostic equipment for perinatal medicine. It will expand the capabilities of the healthcare institution and improve the efficiency of medical care for the residents of the city and the Samara region.

Rosneft is committed to the principles of social responsibility and traditionally pays special attention to creating a favourable social environment in the regions of operation. The healthcare sector is one of the Сompany's significant areas of support.

Under the Cooperation Agreement between Rosneft and the Government of the Samara Region, the Company implements projects that strengthen the material and technical base of social, educational and medical institutions systematically.

Thanks to the Company's support, an expert-class ultrasound machine for perinatal medicine was installed in the hospital unit of the Novokuibyshevsk Central Hospital. It will help medical staff to give a complete and detailed screening of the patients' health status. Four cardiac monitors have also been purchased to keep a record of fetal development during pregnancy and at delivery. Thanks to the parameters obtained, specialists will be able to make a well-timed decision on the need to treat expectant mothers.

The medical facility also received two modern non-invasive lung ventilation devices. With the Company's support, the hospital purchased an advanced open neonatal resuscitation system, which plays a key role in saving the lives of young patients, their intensive care and rehabilitation. The equipment includes special open incubation cuvées, which provide continuous maintenance of the necessary parameters of microclimate and oxygen concentration, monitoring of vital functions.
