RN-Yuganskneftegaz (Rosneft’s largest oil production enterprise) provided modern equipment and educational facilities to School No. 9 in Khanty-Mansiysk, which is attended by nearly 1,000 students. The enterprise participates in the development of the education sector of the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous District—Yugra within the framework of the cooperation agreement between Rosneft and the regional government.

Rosneft implements social projects aimed at creating favourable living conditions in the regions where it operates. The Company supports initiatives aimed at developing education and creating a comfortable urban environment.

The support from RN-Yuganskneftegaz helped to purchase robotics kits, which will allow students to develop programming and design skills. The new interactive panels have made the learning process vivid and accessible, allowing the demonstration of learning materials in all modern formats. Demonstration kits and tools for chemistry classes made it possible to carry out all types of experiments and tests required by the educational programme. New devices and equipment help students in physics classes to better understand the laws and practical significance of the processes they are studying.

The classrooms are now fully equipped with interactive digital and office equipment, and a room for the Russian Children’s Movement and the Movement of the Firsts has been set up. Special attention is paid to creating favourable conditions for children with special developmental needs, for whom a room has been set up for individual sessions with a psychologist and an adaptive sports teacher.

Thanks to the support of the oil workers, the school has received technical equipment to improve the quality of education and expand the range of extra-curricular activities for the all-round development of the students’ skills.
