Kondaneft, a production enterprise of Rosneft Oil Company, planted 964,000 pine saplings in the Kondinskiy District of the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous District-Yugra.
The area of more than 240 hectares earlier affected by forest fire was cleaned from the burnt wood, and soil was prepared. The careful selection of saplings and planting technology allowed to reach the survival rate of more than 90% of seedlings. The saplings were transported in special containers from the nursery garden to protect roots.
Environment protection is an integral part of Rosneft Oil Company's corporate culture and social policy.
